At SUNY Downstate Medical Center @ Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, NY there is a main entrance ramp that leads to their emergency room area. The existing vertical blinds were inoperable and falling off their tracks. As well, this southeast facing window bay was very difficult to keep cool during the day. RLM Window Treatments recommended Inpro's ION 4% open Light Filtering Roller Shades with their proprietary Silver-Lining backer technology in an effort to reduce the heat transmission through the window pane. This product not only provides privacy from the outside in (As seen below) but also will help to reduce the energy costs in this part of the building.
